Congratulations to the Badminton Club who were winners of the Campus Sports Trophy played recently at the Bell's Sports Centre. Well done!
Badminton Club
The Badminton Club has restarted for the season, meeting as usual on Wednesday evenings from 7.00pm now in the new Church Centre.
As expected the move to the Church Centre proved to be very successful last season and the membership grew to 37 compared to 21 the previous year.
We ended as usual with Finals Night in May for the club competitions and the presentation of prizes was held in the Bankfoot Inn. Prizes were presented by Frank and Evelyn Simpson.
The Club is open to secondary school pupils and adults, so if you are interested in playing, why not come along and join us on a Wednesday evening. Coaching is available.
